Oshawa Golf and Curling Club

Oshawa Golf and Curling Club is among the best in Canada for a number of reasons. One of the most important aspects that sets them apart from other golf clubs is their exceptional customer service. From the moment you step foot on their grounds, they make sure to treat you like royalty. They are also committed to making your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible with amenities such as a full-service spa, luxurious locker rooms, an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy drinks or dinner overlooking the course, and more.

Oshawa Golf and Curling Club was established in 1887.

Oshawa Golf and Curling Club are one of the oldest golf courses in Canada. It was first established as a curling club but soon became known for its excellent course as well. The original Oshawa Creek ran through the back nine holes, giving players an authentic Scottish experience that other clubs could not provide so it quickly grew to become one of Eastern Ontario’s most popular places to play.

In 1887, Mr. Charles Thompson donated $1000 worth of land for development into a full-fledged championship golf course – still what we call “Thompson’s Point” today _and by 1889 he had constructed two more sets of tees on each hole (sixteen total) and increased bunkers by 34%. Soon after this upgrade, the club was able to host Ontario’s first Amateur Championship in 1891. The Oshawa Golf and Curling Club have been a fixture of local life for more than 130 years, during which time it has seen many changes _some large and some small but always with one goal: to provide members and visitors alike with an unforgettable golfing experience they won’t soon forget.

The way we do that is by featuring all aspects of the game on our 18-hole championship course – from beginner tee times through challenging par threes over water hazards. Visitors can also enjoy playing other games at the same venue, like bowling or curling, dining outside on our patio overlooking beautiful Lakeview Park.

The Oshawa Golf and Curling Club offer both golfing and curling, so they have two different courses. The golf course is 18 holes with a par of 71 while the other course is nine holes with a par of 36. It’s easy to play solo or in pairs on these scenic lakeside courses that overlook Oshawa Creek – you’ll never find yourself bored here! And, if you’re more into spectator sports than playing them, there are many viewing areas where you can watch for free from your seat (or bring your own chair) as professionals do battle against one another.
